Ford Motor Company and Auto Repair

In 1903, Henry Ford founded Ford Motor Company along with 12 investors. The first Ford Model A was sold on July 23, 1903, marking the beginning of Ford. In 1908, the Ford Model T released, introducing a car that was able to withstand the primitive roads of the early 1900s. The Model T became one of the most popular and famous vehicles of all-time. In 1913, Ford changed the automaking industry with the introduction of the moving assembly line. This allowed Ford to make their vehicles in a fraction of the time it used to take, boosting production output. From there on out, new vehicles such as the Model A and the Thunderbird were produced, making Ford stand out above the competition. In 1954, Ford began to crash-test their vehicles to ensure that safety features were up to standard. In 1964, the iconic Ford Mustang was released and remains one of the fastest-selling vehicles ever. From then on, Ford continued to revolutionize the auto making industry through continuous innovations in their vehicles and taking part in historic events such as the moon landing. Today, Ford is still one of the top car manufacturers in the United States and worldwide.

Ford Vehicles Over Time

Ford's rich and long history has allowed them to produce plenty of vehicles that have captured the hearts of car enthusiasts. Here are a few of the best:

Ford Model T

If you're talking about Ford cars, the Model T has to be brought up since it was the first and most famous. Ford used strong, lightweight vanadium steel alloy for critical parts of the Model T, making it a much more affordable transport compared to the vehicles of the time. It was easy to maintain and very reliable, making it a very popular vehicle in the early 1900s.

1949 Ford

The 1949 Ford was the first automobile design after World War II. It had a unique design: a wind tunnel-tested aerodynamic shape with integrated pontoon fenders, an airplane inspired spinner grille, and an updated V8 engine. This paved the way for Ford to be unique in their car designs.

Ford Thunderbird

First introduced in 1955, the Ford Thunderbird is a living classic. This personal luxury car spanned over 11 distinct generations until it discontinued in 2005. During the 50 years the Thunderbird was produced, Ford sold over 4.4 million of them, with many car enthusiasts looking to buy them today still.

With Ford Co-Pilot 360 Technologies like a lane-keeping system and cross-traffic alert, the Ranger will help keep you safe on the road.

Ford Super Duty

The Ford Super Duty is the most capable heavy-duty pick-up ever as it has the all-new 7.3 OHV gas V8 and a more muscular Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel. With adaptive cruise control, blind-spot information system, and auto high-beam headlamps, this tough truck is also a safe one.

Ford Fusion

The Ford Fusion has three different options: gas, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrain. The Fusion's technology in both hybrid options improves the vehicle's efficiency and total driving range while also reducing C02 emissions. All three options are unique in their own right, but all offer the great technology and style that make the Fusion and Fusion.

Ford Mustang

The Ford Mustang could be the most iconic of all Ford cars and it's not stopping now. The 2020 variant offers six high-powered engine options that have their own performance capabilities.
